Before paying for a service

Who will assess me, and which licence lets them practise where I will be?

How does the first visit work, and how can I ask a question after filling in the form?

What do I pay if the assessment ends without a prescription?

What is included now, what repeats, and what can be billed separately?

Under the September 2026 location rule, the doctor’s licence or another legal route had to allow care in the state you were physically in when seen.

Evidence A

During the medicine discussion

Which health condition needs treatment, and what makes this product worth considering?

What is the exact ingredient, product name and form?

Which parts of my health history or other medicines affect this decision?

If a pharmacy-made preparation is proposed, why can an approved product not meet the need?

Compounded preparations lacked FDA approval as of September 2026. Their safety, quality and effectiveness had not been reviewed by FDA before marketing.

Evidence B

Before leaving with a plan

Who will fill this prescription, and where do I verify that pharmacy’s licence?

Does any test need to happen first, and who explains the result?

How do I reach the prescriber and pharmacist after the medicine arrives?

When do we review progress, and what would change the plan?

What happens if I cannot refill, need to stop, or move care elsewhere?

Once medicine has arrived, a licensed doctor should remain available for questions; FDA’s online-care checklist flags services that do not offer this access.
